A mobile phone salesman has been dubbed as ‘Malaysia’s most handsome thief‘ after photos and footage of him stealing iPhones from a mobile-phone reseller went viral on Facebook.
Netizens were left swooning after photos of a teen who stole mobile phones from a mobile-phone reseller’s storage room virally circulated all over social media along with footage of the suspect committing the crime itself.
The teen identified as 24-year-old Nazbukhari Nazlan, was filmed taking 4 brand new iPhone 7 units from the shelves of a mobile-phone reseller’s storage room here in Bukit Bintang before making a quick getaway with the stolen mobile phones, which is estimated to be worth RM 14, 796.
Some curious netizens even tried looking for the suspect’s Instagram profile to look at more pictures; but were let down after discovering that the suspect had deleted all posts from his Instagram after news of his crime went viral.
According to a posting by Facebook user Faris Fared, a colleague of the suspect, who originally uploaded the surveillance video of the incident to Facebook; the suspect had only been working at the cellphone dealership for a day before he committed the crime in question.
Supt Mohd Sukri Kaman, chief police of the Dang Wangi IPD confirmed the incident, adding that a report has been lodged regarding the case. – The Inscriber
