KLUANG : It’s a shared common knowledge– even an indisputable fact that one should never light up a cigarette at a petrol station. With the amount of gas that sits underneath a petrol station in it’s reservoir tanks, lighting up a cigarette isn’t the brightest of ideas- especially when there are other innocent people at the petrol station.
Two super-bike riders, clad in full-on racing suits decided to pull over at a petrol station here at Johor for a smoke break. While it is completely normal for motorists to pull over at petrol stations to rest or have a cigarette, smokers stand outside of the petrol station’s entrance grounds, far away from the pumps to enjoy their cigarette. The two super-bike riders however, decided that it was ‘perfectly safe’ to smoke on the petrol station grounds.
When confronted by staff members who requested that they do not smoke at the petrol station, they paid no heed to them and was even photographed showing obscene gestures at the staff members who persistently urged them to put out their cigarettes.
It is believed that the super-bikers are from Singapore, but no certain pointers have surfaced regarding the identity of the said duo.
Social media users went into an uproar after the pictures and story was circulated online. Thousands upon thousands of users who are infuriated by the duo’s clear disregard for the well-being of others are sharing the story to make the duo ‘famous’ because ‘it’s clearly what they want’. -The Inscriber
